Are you currently Keto or Carnivore?

Keto

How long have you been keto/carnivore?

Keto for 18 months, stopped for 2 years and back now 1.5 months.

Describe what a Typical Day of Eating Looks like for you.

Describe the health changes you have experienced since going keto/carnivore.

I’ve noticed so much more mental clarity and greater ability to focus. When I wake up I don’t feel groggy and lethargic.

I have more energy. I don’t want to nap during the day. My mood has dramatically improved. I’m happier with myself and the world around me.

Your Keto/Carnivore Story

My moment came when I was holding my newborn nephew and I realized how much I let myself go. I was 273 lbs!
I had no idea how I got to 273, which tells me it was from neglect of myself, and my awareness of my diet.
I swore that starting May 1st I would focus on becoming a better version of me.

Through a strict keto diet and cycling, I went down to 229lbs. I was happier with myself than I’d been for years.
Then covid hit, I lost track of myself… I ate garbage, drank empty calories for almost 18 months, and went up to 253…. I said, “no more!”

I knew going ketogenic was something that had been proven and effective for me. Five weeks ago I went back to a full ketogenic diet, and in 5 weeks I’ve come back down to 228.

My energy, mental clarity, focus, and happiness have all returned.

What is the best (or top 3) pieces of advice you could give someone starting their keto/carnivore health journey?

Be accountable to yourself! You control what and when you eat, nobody else does.

Know that it’s ok if the weight loss is slow, everyone’s body responds differently to their diet.

Exercise. Diet alone is fantastic but working out and dieting will take it to the next level.

Lead a healthy life not just for you but for your kids.
